I have a Scag 48" walk behind with a Kawasaki FC420V AS17 engine.
A week ago, I was mowing and all of a sudden the engine quit. I trailered the mower and got it to my shop where I can get it to run by working the throttle manually. But no luck past that! The engine sounds great so I think its just a control issue. I have a feeling that I just lost a screw, spring or linkage and don't have a clue where to start. Does anyone have a diagram of what the controls for this engine "should" look like? Any help would be greatly appreciated.
