View Full Version : Prosecutor vs. Round up
09-04-2007, 05:22 PM
In the past I have used Round Up to kill unwanted grass. This time I used Prosecutor and followed the instructions Lesco gave me for mixing.
Day 3 has past and I'm not seeing much progress. Still alot of green and hardly any brown. Usually I see some results with Round up the next day. Does Prosecutor take a bit longer to see results or was my mix not strong enough.

Is it really dry in Indiana? If so, just wait for a little sprinkling of rain and you'll have a kill. Whatever you are spraying has to be growing and taking in nutrients to die.

Roundup is much better. Sorry I wasted my $$$ on Prosecutor.

If I can wait, I like the Prosecutor for the price. If I need it dead ASAP I use the Round-up.

Glyphosate is glyphosate. If it is the same percentage or not, it is the same. As long as it is mixed to equivalent amounts, it will all work the same. One small differenceis that some brands - such as Gordon, put a little bit f their own sticker in it. If a spreader/sticker is used anyway, that little bit won't matter. Now,....this is straight gly, and gly only. I am not talking about extra salts such as in Sahara or Triox, and no other products like Razorburn with stuff like diquat in it.

Regular round up usually takes 7 days depending on the wheather.
