someone is selling a 36" john deere with some rust on the deck everything else looks clean. the only problem is he said it runs for a short period of time then it dies, but runs fine when the mower is choked. do you think this is a en expensive repair or should i buy this seven year old mower for $350.00.thanx for any help

I am sorry the, the mower runs like it is choked when it is choked. The problem is that the mower dies after about twenty seconds after the mower is runnng, he said that the safety just went out on it a month ago.thanx

you may not find a cheaper one, but you'll find on a whole lot better one for a little bit more. from my experience on buying lawn equipment, you get what you pay for! go for it if you think it's good. its not my money or my decision. just trying to keep you from making the same mistakes i and other people have made. thanks

Is it in the Gainesville craigslist? I'm looking for a 36" too but passed on this because it looks like the guy doesn't take care of his equipment.
