Joey, very impressive to see Unique step up and open themselves up in this forum. As you have seen, some great ideas and methods can be discussed in an area when you can get a lot of similar minded people together, and there's always the occasional nonsense.

Kirk, Thank you for your support here. I would not have pushed to do this if I did not find value int he information being shared. I look to this as something I can do to better educate everyone on Unique and still allow the other forum to be what it is without being a place for any manufacturer to look like he is hawking his products. I truly ahve good intentions here, of course I want to benefit Unique but the main goal here is to grow our industry and share information.

Hey Joey - Just wanted to say hello and reach out since we started using your product this season. I met with Chris, Greg and Mike at a hands-on seminar at Greg's house in NJ. We've done 3 small jobs since them that came out great and have had real good input from the customers. I haven't been on here in a few months but now that I know you guys are here to help out with questions I'll have to check in more often. I'm really hoping to make a big push with the lighting part of our business over this upcoming winter so it takes off next year. Any suggestions regarding marketing and getting the word out there to residential homes in our area would be great.

Hey alright Joe. I am glad to hear that things ahve worked well for you since the training. Post any question you may have and I will be sure to get you the best answer I can in a timely fashion.

As far as marketing is concerned. I think a great first step would be to host an Illuminations event in conjunction with Unique. Illuminations are night time lighting showcases where Unique will assist in advertising and inviting architects, designers, and potential clients out to an over the top lighting project you have done. We can talk more about this but I tis a great way for you to get your name out in your local market to people specifying lighting projects and looking for quality people to install the projects for them.

I guess I'm going to have to tell Nate what a great job you have been doing and to give you a raise! There are a few of us here in FL who have been kind of lurking in the shadows and checking you guys out lately. I must admit, I have been somewhat impressed as of late in what you have been bringing to the table. Not only in products, (which has been tremendous) but in your support of the industry and your commitment to customer relations. This kind of integrity is worth it's weight in gold to guys like me, and you are about to make one hell of an impact on a bunch of Florida boys (I'll talk to you about a kick back later). The only thing stopping me right now is my inability to change over to the hub method (since all of your fixtures come with 25' leads) It's hard to teach an old guy new tricks. If you could also manufacture your products without the lead, you could probably open up a whole new market. Anyway, keep it up pal, you guys are definitely on the right track to blowing the market away. :cool:

That was so awesome, thanks for all the nice things you said. I am just trying to do my part and Unique as a whole is always trying to bring things to the table that will be beneficial to the end user. We dont want to just steal another company's idea and try to make it ours. We truly enjoy innovating and doing things that other company's will try and immitate and claim as there own.
