Sometimes I think their is a method to CSR's madness. I can't imagine that Rotar would do that but he loves to see his boss lambasted over decisions he's made. I mean a 12" PGP swung up on poly?! Taped to 2" by 4" stakes? At least use rebar with ring clamps at the minimum. I'd personally use 3/4" copper with rebar support and use adjustable impacts. I've never been a fan of single stream gear rotors on risers. Will those PGPs survive the winter?

How about you stop getting you panties in a bunch. bigger droplet size = better wind resistance. Spin it however you want, this is a fact, and it has nothing to do with red, blue, gray nozzles.
Personally, I think that area is begging for micro irrigation, new plants or not.
Given the slope of the area and what looks to be nice "neat" rows, what better conditions could you ask for? Looks to me like your watering more weeds than anything.
We all know your a grunt, but how are you going to learn anything if no one points out flaws? Learn to take the comments for what they are, constructive criticism. The more intelligent you appear to your boss, the more likely you will get a bigger piece of the pie.

They didn't flush it first thereby allowing rocks to keep it from seating? The cap is on loose? It was a trash head and was reused? Screwed a newer 570 cap on the old style body? Pulled the peeling plastic off the stem and reinserted it thinking that was a fix? Used the nozzle screw as a flow adjuster? It is a 15H and should be another pattern?

My comments were objective and referred to your boss as a git for allowing such shoddy work. Honestly, a rotor duct taped to a stick? I would never do anything like that let alone post it. You had to have known what kind of response that would garner. If you want a "warm fuzzy", your duct tape was evenly spaced.
I did help invent water just before the internet. This lunch time Gopher sweats all his risers because I can. I am the boss. I only hope you are learning from our constructive criticism what not to do when you have your own reins.
I would not compromise my reputation by doing shoddy construction. It's not b!tching but merely laying a baseline for professional work. If we as contractors condone examples such as these, we only validate the stereotype put upon our industry.
