If you've ever wondered "how heavy is........." or "how do you convert....", etc., this may be the perfect reference book for you: http://www.mtroubleshooting.com/mm5/merchant.mvc?Screen=CTGY&Store_Code=IS0056&Category_Code=PE
It's titled the Pocket Ref and it's inexpensive and covers alot of subjects and it's small (easy to carry around/store). I've owned a copy for several years and it comes in handy. I was just checking it to see how much a cubic yard of clay soil weighs for trailering purposes and just thought some here may find it worth while to own a copy. (note: I am not affiliated with the seller in any way).

I've had one since '97... excellent book. Pumps, motors, wiring sizes, weights of everything from gypsum to clay to crushed limestone, makes it handy to convert yards of rocks on a job to tons, which is how they're sold. Mine's in the console in my truck.
