this machine is fantastic!!!!!its the hrc216 hydro drive
while bagging it has the best cut i have ever seen on a 21
mulching is not as good as toro
it is a great machine.although i feel like a traitor me being a former 30 yr uaw gm worker buying foreign

I have got the HRC216SXA (same machine, just gear driven) I really love it. I am sure you will love your machine too.

I think the honda is assembled in th USA, my nissan was from
Tenn, Ford 150 from Canada. Kawasaki engines made in USA

Welcome to the club! On my second one and the first one is still slamming. Indestructable, from the handlebars (notice the heavy duty support brackets?), to the wheels (you prolly won't need to replace), drive,and famous Honda OHC motor. Run Amsoil or Mobil 1. Yea the mulcher sucks, I bag mostly. Its really hard to beat.

Now that ive had mine for several days i have these observations .this machine is like a rock.
for bagging it cant be beat, but it would not be for someone who just mulches ,it is not a good mulcher.It has the best cut i have ever seen on a 21 inch while bagging.
and even in wet conditions the deckgoes longer before it gets plugged up

my toros you have to clean the deck after each cut because they will have a ton of guck under the deck
