Hi,
I am finally moving into my new house on Wednesday. Its a new house and the back yard was seeded on Friday. It seems to have really good top soil and not the normal red clay that everyone else has. They seeded it with Fescue and put down straw. It was obviously a poor seeding. I have an irrigation system be put in during the second week of October. I want to have a great lawn. How do I do this. So far I am planning on planting some rye to get it nice for the fall/winter. Can I or should I mix in Fescue with that? How should I plant the new seed?
Thanks as usual to everyone.
