You actually picked it up? How much did it weigh and is your back ok? Man.....you must be strong :) On another note: what made you choose that particular roller vs. other choices?

I demoed it for about 15 hours. It was very smooth and did a nice job of compaction. I wish it had a little more power as I use these machines for things other than finish grade on 3/4 crush gravel. It came down to ease of working with the CASE dealer. I had also demoed an IR DD25. It compacted well but visibility sucked. That was the only other machine I considered. They gave me a grand more for my Vibramax 263 than I paid for it about 4 years ago at auction (9K). I really want to go forward with plans to creating a bigger niche in concrete prep. This roller will help with that.

Whats the average size of one of your concrete prep jobs?

Looked at the spec's and it can do 11 inch thick lifts of gravel thats a big time saver.
You might want to go in the paving business now :laugh:
Right now they average around 10K square feet and less. I want to hit the 10-100K market. I have no desire to push asphalt. The occasional patch back is enough for me.
