Here are some pics of my "new" bike! A 1976 Yamaha 360. Needs a little work, but it runs great.

And it only has 5,000 miles. It was put away for a few years, then the guy who owned it had it totally rebuilt, but never rode it much.

Here is the last pic for now. If anybody wants anymore, let me know.
I don't really need much for it, just a new clutch handle, mirrors, new hi/low beam switch, and it just needs a good cleaning.

Congrats! Be careful. I just got my first bike about 3 months ago and cant tell you how many idiots are on the road. Watch your back and think of yourself because on a bike no one else will. Have fun and be safe. Brian

I had a 81 SR 250 for about a year. The only thing I did to it was ride and ended up doubling my money on it when I sold it. I should have kept it. Oh well.

Lawn Enforcer! Where is your front caliper man? That is more important than the rear. I looked back through the thread and don't see mention of it. Have you been able to locate the parts to fix it? If you are going to ride in an empty parking lot, you ought to secure that brake line if isn't, so it doesn't get caught in the wheel. Maybe it is but in the one photo it looks like it could get tangled. Please ride carefully and do keep it under ten if you are going to practice.

skip the duct tape and get yourself a nice chunk of vinyl to recover the whole seat. i see youre going for the flat black mad max look. nice.

i like the pipes, are they loud? also, any idea how old the tires are? they look old and if so id replace those before riding anywhere far or wet. good thing about the front brake, youll be needing that. looking good!

It was tough wearing gear, in florida in the summer time, but IMO a nesecary evil.
