Old Plate Compactor

I was at a garage sale this morning and I found an old yellow plate compactor. This thing looked ancient, but the guy said that it worked. The brand name was "Master" something, the rest was scratched off. Model C-12 with a Wisconsin engine. The guy only wanted $50 for and he would probably come down to $35.

I tried googling "Master Compactor" and nothing comes up. Any ideas? Is it worth it?

Your asking this & at worst you will lose $ 35.00. I would buy it, a new compactor is $ 700 on up. Even if it sat in the shop for back up, or a when you need it type thing $ 35 is less than the rental fee.

The $35 is not the issue, it's space. If you seen my garage you would understand:laugh:
