How Often Is The Oil& Filter To Be Changed

I HAVE THE NEW 2007 HUSTLER WITH 19HP KAW,, MINI Z 42INCH CUT, HOW OFTEN DO CHANGE THE OIL AND FILTER ? SOME SAY EVERY 40 HR'S BUT OTHER'S SAY EVERY 100 TO 200 HR'S,, WHICH IS IT ? WHICH ONE WOULD U WOULD U DO?:confused:

We suggest the following, this is right out of your owners manual.

Initial oil change is after 5 hours of operation. Thereafter,
change oil after every 40 hours operation. Change more often
under dusty or dirty conditions and during hot weather periods.
Change engine oil filter per the engine manufacturer’s
recommendations. Refer to Engine Owner’s Manual for
recommendations and other maintenance items.
