My Dad worked for Mobil for 43 years. Back when they were magnolia oil co. He was in the Flying Red Horse building that has become the Dallas logo of sorts. Not defending them just throwing it out there.

funny you should say that..my gradfather was merchant marine.
He invented some crazy double check something or other for oil transport during ww2.. got into a few publications for it and recived mobile stock for his entire life...

When my mother was a kid (pre-WWII and during early 1940's) the whole neighborhood would swim in that creek. Was told at that time, the water was crystal clear and you could drink it.
