Aeration/Overseeding@different times

Was wandering if anyone had any results on aeriating one week and overseeding/fertilizing the following week? I only have 2 days available this week for the whole process. I'm renting a 48" tow-behind aeriator for these 2 days, but I have way to many yards to do to get everything done. Was planning on doing all the overseeding/fertilizing the 2 days available next week.

No. Wouldn't do it, if you get a good rain all of your plugs will start breaking down and the holes will start filling up all without seed being involved. That would lead to a crappy seeding job.

I agree with Kirby on this. Don't do it as a split. My suggestion is to do half the lawns this week, doing the whole aerate, overseed and fertilize on them, then do the rest next week. You will have much better results this way, and happier customers.

The only step in the process that you could possibly wait to do next week is the fertilizing.
