View Full Version : Simplicity 2561 deck drive pulleys

Why would one shatter? The pulley is casted and has three spokes to the hub. The spokes shattered. Also where can I get a replacement? -SL

we have had a few break but it hasn't been the spoke. the outer shell of the pulley breaks. they drill holes in them for balancing and the one's that have broken we have seen holes about 1/4 of the way around the pulley which weakens it. Any simplicty or ferris dealer should have a replacement. Give me your product id number and I'll get you a part number. The product number should either start with a 169 or 269

if you cant find a simplicity part for that. A ferris dealer should have one off an 1000z, is1000z or is2000z with the 61" deck.
