Fire from muffler! Exmark 36 walk behind

I have an Exmark 36 walk behind that has visible fire coming out of the muffler. I took the muffler off and problem is still there. I don't have any clue! Any help is appreciated.

Sounds like the exhaust valve may not be closing fully, Possibly a small piece of carbon got in the seat area.

A cylinder leak-down test would show if it is in-fact a valve problem.

Unfortunately, sounds like something I'm going to have to take to the shop. I appreciate the help.
