stihl trimmer keeps dying

stihl trimmer starts but when running and I let off the throttle the thing dies. Adjusted the LA screw so now if it does idle the head keeps spinning, and sometimes it still dies anyway.

Replace air filter, spark plug, in-tank fuel filter, in about that order.

Might also be your low-end adjustment screw, the owner's manual should tell you how to adjust this.
