I have a 48" lazer z, what do you think about double blading , high lift on the bottom and gators on top?

no comments? If it works and won't tear up my mower I'd like to try.

exmark usually doesn't recommend running doubles on anything they build. i've done it before when i had one, two fairly dull sets of blades seems to cut about like one sharp set. the velocity of the discharge is a lot more too, seems to make a big mess to me.

Well first off what don't you like about the single blade set-up?

You ether have a 60" try deck on a ct or you have a 48" try with the 18hp briggs???

na. its a 48" with a 23hp might not be a briggs, I'll have to look again, But it is 48/23
as for what I don't like about the single blade action, just wanted to seeabout a better cut with less clumping, gator blades just aint satifactory.

I have found on the tyr deck that the notched high lifts where great all the time.
