I was hoping you could give the procedure or provide a link to literature showing it, on adjusting the governor on a suzuki/Toro 21". The throttle position, which direction you push the governor linkage and which way you rotate the shaft when I tighten the nut.

Sorry, I don't have a link or pretty picture for this one....
This is a basic rule of thumb procedure for adjusting mechanical governors on most engines.
Push the throttle (governor) linkage from idle to full throttle position. Note the direction the shaft rotates when doing this.
While holding the linkage in the full throttle position loosen the nut then rotate the shaft the same direction until it stops then re-tighten the nut.
After adjusting move the throttle linkage from idle to full throttle checking for any binding.

Thank you so much! It's been a long time since I've adjusted one and had forgot. I had loosened this one to aid in getting the carb and it's linkage off for a rebuild. I appreciate the help!
