You don't have to zillow here, all public access on the net. Real owner, Plot, House pics, House dimensions, and etc. are all information that prepare you for a first meeting.

He's talking about a real-estate site : http://www.zillow.com

Oh, I'm sorry. I responded to the wrong person. I think he's talkng about the County Auditors' database of properties? Correct me if I'm wrong.

We just pre-qualify real well on the phone. I don't care what the home is worth. We've had people who live in a 400K home spend twice as much as a customer in a 2 million dollar home.

Would you propose a $20K landscape lighting system for a home worth $200K ? A very low probability sale to make .

Again, that comes down to pre-qualifing over the phone. A 20K job on a 200K home...probably not....but a $2500-$3000 job, sure why not.

My point is you'd like to get a general feel for what kind of budget you'd like to work within the confines of. Rare that a prospect will be honest and share with you. rare but possible that someone will invest 20K in lighting if the house is worth only 200K. That would most likely mean they'd have more money invested in lighting then in landscaping and that is highly improbably.
