Nice looking truck, I don't see too many dodge dump or flatbed trucks around here.

Is it a 4500 or 5500? Cummins right?

They're not bad looking at least better that some of the others.

Can you get any larger pics with that trailer too? looks nice.

Did you get rid of the GMC?

10-21-2007, 11:07 PM
It is a 3500 with the Cummins. I will get some pics with the trailer tomorrow if it doesn't rain. I had to get rid of GMC because of the pittyfull service department here. I will be switching to all Dodge trucks in the next year.

I liked the GMC you had it went so well with everything with that aluminum bed that was a beautiful truck...but I guess if you can't get it maintained well you can't keep it. Anyways good luck with the new truck(s)

Do you still run all the Toro's? How are they keeping up?

How did/does the bagger system for your ZTR's work?

How's do you like the Deere Tractor?

Thats a shame you had to get rid of the GMC I just checked it out in your other threads and it was a really nice truck, but I guess service is important.

I am assuming you do large commerical sites with that huge trailer or you just do alot of residentials in one area? I'm considering an enclosed trailer (not that large) just wondering if it would be justified for what I would use it for.

Did you tarp those leaves, I put mine in barrels and some still blow out of them! I guess there is less when you go to dump them!!!! lol

Truck looks nice! Keep us updated with how it runs and performs as it turns some miles. I'm curious to see how well the new dodge c&c's will perform after having some running done on them.

Is that a 6.7L? You don't maintain your own equipment and trucks?

11-09-2007, 12:12 PM
Does that flatbed dump as well? What model Deere is the tractor? Nice looking truck!!!

11-09-2007, 12:24 PM
oh that is sweet...I have wanted a newer cab-n-chassis forever, I am just too damn tight though...If I ever win the lottery..that's it for me!

We do a mix of large commercial and lots of residential mowing. I love my enclosed trailer, we can haul 3 zero turns or a mix of zero turns and walk behinds. We do tarp the leaves yes. Our next stop was right around the corner so they weren't bad. The truck is the new 6.7 yes and i am very happy so far. We do maintain our own equipment yes, why do you ask?

I too got a new dodge 6.7 in August. I was a little leary of the new 6.7 but I wanted the six speed auto. I have been very happy with it so far. I have 9200 miles on it and no problems. The jake brake is awsome and I get about 15 mpg in town with my 16ft trailer. The only thing is the check engine light comes on if you dont get the fuel cap on just right. I dont know why its so darn touchy but that is the only thing I dont like. Oh and the fact that is to clean burning you can't even smell the deisel exahust.

How does it tow compared to the gmc you had? anything noticeable?

11-09-2007, 10:57 PM
ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh, not a DODGE!!!!!!!!!!! J/K, drive what you want. I was born, bread and will be found dead in nothing other than a GM product. Good luck with the new truck. I always love a good looking chassis cab truck.

This thing is a torque monster compared to my GMC I had. Now I am waiting to see if it ever just quits running down the road like the GMC did all the time.
