Well, I bought it and have been using it for a while, but really pulled about wheather I like it or not. Can anyone make me feel any better about my $400.00 I gave up. Seems the tech. support is nonexistent. I have sent several e-mails and get a general response.

they have always responded very quickly to any of my questions. No complaints here, it works great for me, but I only have about 150 clients...what problems are you having? Have you ever visited the gopher forums? I just submit questions to their tech support there, and within a couple hours usually have the answer!

I have had it for a few years now. It hasn't been updated for a while, there are several "glitches" in the program. They are spending thier time on other projects. I have gotten nowhere with them when communicating my problems. I'm told that my computer has the problem, not the program.

I kinda like the software , but It has no way for me to keep up with my credit card customers. I don't understand the schedualing part, and i need more understanding of the chemical part. When I put someone on the inactive , I still see them on my route sheet. I don't want to accidentally spray them for free....These kinda things are general and no e-mail can resolve. I want to to talk to one of you guys and us share what we have discovered.

Like I said, there are "glitches"......The design of the program is just not refined enough to work as we think it should. Or as we would like it to work. There has been several recomendations in the past by several users but no upgrades........

I paid something like $375.00 or so for the Pro version. Thats the only one with the chemical ability.

When you bought it?
Cause at their web site the price for the pro version is $199.00.
Also the chemical report is worthless for NY state since it doesn't have the ability to run a report as for DEC requirements.
I Don't now what requirements are for TN.

gopher needs to stop making stupid movies and start worring about thier business i will be changing over shortly they have no clue they are "trying" to help us grow our business's but they have software that cant keep up with our growing business'syou would be better off having a cheap version of quickbooks than this junk.

I really really hope gopher reads this phrase prints it gives it to whoever develops the program and a copy to those that make the stupid gopherhaul series.

cant agree more why do we want to see what someone else is doing with their co. when we have already achieved more and i can be more than safe to say that it was with no help to gopher haul. If their is people that want to learn if they have questions on how to build their co. go on lawnsite.com or email me at jason@lawnsrus.com with your question.

Glad to hear that I am not the only one who has problems. They have told me for the last couple of years that its "my" computer with the problems. I ran L/M with out any problems. Guess I should have kept it.

I sent them an email right after I ordered it and got a response with-in 12 hours. I sent them an email about a problem I had about a month ago and never got a response. I like the software though....

I have gopher also. I don't have any major complaints. It is good for the money. I agree, they do need to update it. Tech support is okay. It just seems like they give you a short answer or never answer your question fully. I am still running XP, but have heard that Vista users have had problems.

Well it seem that by gopher ignoring customers they are digging their own grave.
I guess they heading some other way and don't care about the software anymore

Stick with XP...It runs faster and better than Vista. Vista has too much stuff running in the background. I have a new computer system, bigger and better, but I think its slower than my XP system.

my current boss uses gopher, it looks, feels, and responds like a amateur program, totally waste!
with my business(solo), i use quickbooks and have never been happier, very easy to learn and use
Before getting Groundskeeper Pro I runed a demo from Gopher and it looked not very user friendly so after a month I called them and asked for a extension on the demo and they did, still after two months I was not very comfortable with the software, so I downloaded a demo for Groundskeeper Pro and it has been very easy to use from the very first time, give it a try and you may feel the same way, also the preprinted invoices are a very nice feature.
Also you may want to try using this: http://www.landscapemanagementsystem.com/
It was free for anyone that got registered by 10/31/07 but the 2.99 price is not to bad.
