yea i mean it looks good from the pics i think it would be nice to have a little project for the winter making racks and getting my logo on the side.the way i thnk of it is that i want an enclosed for a few reasons..1 advertise its free and looks great in front of a house when you are working...2 keeps everything inside clean and safe. my biggest set back is that its 14ft i have a 12 foot open now and i fit my 48wb 32 wb and a 21 i mean i really dont need that much more space unless business goes like crazy in the summer but then i will need a rider and at least a 18 foot trailer. i guess my main thought is that this is so cheap next time i am goin to be able to buy something this style i will be spending 4 grand ish..............i think thats to much to put into a trailer....so now that you read this thoughts..comments...feelings... maybe i am just crazy and think too much????

I was looking at trailers not too long ago. A brand new Wells Cargo trailer similar to that one was going to be just about $4900 out the door at the place I was looking. Not that I would pay that for it, but that is what they were asking for it.

You can get an off brand 6x10 for about $2400.

FWIW Home Depot has Work Sport Trailers. Parent Co. is Pace. http://www.worksporttrailers.com/6x12.php

The 6 x 12 enclosed with ramp and side door is $2,999 new. The 6 x 10 with swing doors and no ramp is $2,599

My Home Depot stocks many 6 x 10 but they have one 6 x 12 on order.

Guys, the low prices you are quoting are for single axle trailers, that is a dual axle. $4900 new is about right for a 7x14.

Make sure you can drive your equipment on it, some enclosed trailers are to high, and mowers will catch at the top of the ramp.

Otherwise, on a dealers lot this would run you about $3500 for an 02 in decent shape. The paint may be hard to get off, vynal decals are easier.

I do not know if it is just your location, but down here trailer prices are much different. Sunday, I am picking up a brand new 2008 model 8.5 X 24 V-Nose Car Hauler for $4,795. Tandem axle, rear ramp door, 10,000 GVWR. However, about the one posted in the thread, I would give $1,500 to $1,800 for it very quickly provided it is in the condition that it appears.

Who makes it? What type of warranty are they offering? One set of brakes or two? Grease fittings? What size tires? How long is the tongue? Does it have one long ramp hinge, or two or three smaller ones? Any vents? Any internal lights? Stone guard? I'm not saying you aren't really getting a good deal. But there are many ways to cheapen a trailer.

I did alot of searching before I took the plunge...literally weeks checking every place I could...news papers, local flyers, craigs list, Friends..etc

I couldn't find a good deal on a used unit...

While surfing ebay I came across this unit that I ended up purchasing direct from the manufacturer. I was skeptical..(as I usually am..) so I went to go check it out in person.

After mounting all my racks and such, I can tell you without any hesitation that this baby is solid....

Out the door it was less than $3500.

Its a 7 x 16 with the v-nose which actually makes it 18' long. I was using a 16 foot open that had a very long
v-tounge on the front so all in all they are about the same in length

Check out the picks and if you want the gentelmans name let me know. The only draw back is you have to pick it up at the manufacturer or pay to have it delivered.

Built by Frontier Cargo. Been in business over 26 years. 3 Year warranty. Two 5200lb axles, both with brakes. Grease fittings all over, including the hinges and easy lube wheel hubs. Four Ramp Hinges. Two roof vents. Two 12VDC internal lights. Stone guard on the front. Here is a link to it on Ebay, where I found it, but I am purchasing directly from the dealer.

I have heard that trailer prices were higher up north. Even local to me (this trailer is 2.5 hours away, but in the home area of several trailer manufacturing companies) this trailer usually runs $6,500 to $7K from my in town dealers.

TLC, you going to douglass, GA for your trailer? The one posted looks like the fender is bent, dent up front on diamond plate. Since you'll have to repaint the trailer I wouldn't give but $1,200-1,400 for it. I paid $3,000 for my NEW 7x16.

Yep, going to make a Sunday afternoon drive out of it with the Kids. It is about 2.5 hours from me. Saving me about $2K from buying local. I will not even burn that much in fuel. Can't complain.

As I said, in that area (Douglas, Fitzgerald, Tifton, Baxley, etc.) here in south Georgia it is a capital of trailer manufacturers. They are everywhere. The closer you get to the manufacturers door, the less the OTD price for the trailer.

I am working out of a 6x14 enclosed Haulmark right now with 2 Ztrs, 6 peices of handheld equipment hanging on wall racks, 3 backpack blowers among other things that I need. I switch out a Z for a WB a day or two out of each week and lately on one day a week I have been cutting a few backyards with a Push mower because I do not want to give up the second Z for the WB for only a few yards. With this large Rig, I will be able to carry both Zs, the WB, all the handheld gear and still be able to carry Fert (as needed) with the spreader, still have a pusher for a few really small yards where I cannot use anything else and be able to carry small quanities of pinestraw or even shrubs as needed for jobs without having to figure out how to pack it all in around equipment.

What will you be using to tow that rig around. I want to sell mine and upgrade to the exact one your getting but the only truck I have that could handle it is the F450 dump truck w/ a 460 that gets about 7-8 mpg. Would like a 3/4 ton but all current trucks are paid for and I don't want to make payments. If I can add 1 or 2 good size commercail contracts then we'

Curb weight is right at 3,500lbs. My 6X14, including the gear I have in it now weighs in right at 6K. I figure the trailer empty is about 2,300. The additional gear and extra trailer weight I plan on hauling will come to about 2K. So, I figure I will weigh out at about 8K. I have a Chevy 2500HD, so I will be fine. I currently get about 9-10 mpg pulling my flat front 14footer, I might suffer about 1 mpg with the new rig. But the ease of work will be worth it.
