When is the best time of year to do gutter cleaning?

What is the lastest to figure being able to do gutter cleaning in Indiana? I'm thinking the best time may be in early november to december. I'm sure it's not good to try and do it when things are frozen. So does this mean as soon as it starts being consistently below 32 that it's over 'til spring or warmer weather? And do many people do this every year?

Heck, I'd do it when it's safe to do, and when there's nothing else pressing to do higher on the list!

whenever the customer wants them we do most of ours with leaf clean ups

Best time of year is late fall after all of the leaves have fallen from the trees. As long as their isn't ice on the roofline or ice in the gutters you'll be fine to do the gutter cleanings in the cooler temps. And yes, many people have this service done every year.

we do it whenever the customer wants it done. Some want it done after all of the leaves have fallen while others have so many leaves that they have to be cleaned out several times during the fall.

Technically when they're clogged, but I agree you should advise the customer it might be wise to wait until the leaves are done falling.

we clean when ever they need to be done, when on a property I always check everything out to see if anything needs to be done, btw I just have a handful that I have to get approved before I do anything, all the others I do what needs to be done, and send them a bill

i do it anytime the customer wants it done. but here in north missouri the best time is right about now. late october- november. i have one house that the guy calls me twice a year for cleaning.

i would like to be able to scedule all of my gutter cleaning in november- december. that way i have money coming in during the slow time of the year.

We perform gutter cleaning on our final leaf cleanup! At that time we blow out the gutters , downspouts , an any leaves on the roof areas! Hope this helps George
