Oddy enough, there are lots of those down on the Bayou, some mounted high
& some raft mounted. Quite a few Airstream trailers retired there.

Wet Boots...lives in the village..Bleeker & McDougal..has the largest collection
of irrigation literature in the world, peruses daily. Knew Ginsberg, gave up
poetry for rock 'n roll, played in Ed Saunder's band, The Fugs. Left for irrigation when reality called about making a living. Is of medium height,
balding, with clipped beard. Drives a 1954 Chev service truck with pipe rack,
handle is "Ace Irrigation".

'83 310 32' diesel (Izuzu) turbo charged "classic" (looks like a trailer,
but sits on a Chev P-30 platform). Her name is "Bess". Had 28K when we
bought her 12 years ago, now has 189K, sure like that Isuzu, still burns no
oil. Can't wait to get out.
