looks pretty nice.....how about a full side view??? How many HP is the loader???? I like that you have it turned so the intake faces the curb......I want to do that to mine when I get it.....

Very nice. Those supports will probably interfere with dumping if you leave them in. I'm guessing they are only there for transport.

Thats sweet:cool2: Do yourself a big favor. put a tarp on the top part where you will be sucking up the leaves. if the wind blows in your direction, you will get covered.

I have a piece of flex hose on the end of my steel discharge pipe that just fits insde the hole. This way I don't have to disconnect or play with anything when I finish dumping. The flex pops into the hole as it comes down and back to sucking we go.
I agree you don't need the inside braces, likely there to support your weight while you built it.

Good job, especially with the details. The grommet and slide set up where the discharge chute goes through the box as well as the the mounting for the intake hose are nice touches. Again, nice job.

Just wondering want kind of tarp are you using? I have a canvas tarp on my top and it seems to be working good but when the loader is on high it bubbles too much on the top.

First off the supports do not block it when I dump, unless it is wet. They are only half inch rodes. The roof is made of this stuff called hardware mesh, it's galvanized,so it won't rust. Then there is aluminum screen over that. Only a very little dust gets out. It is a 25hp, Robin, and it works better then I would have ever dreamed. I have 12 acers and I dump it every night. I will take a side picture in the morning, and post it. Thanks for all the comments, I know the cut above the rest thing is old, but I have been doing it for 12 years. It was not widly used back then.

I am rather new here. But i have seen a lot of people asking for good "venting tarps". Well this is what i have and its great, nothing comes out the top, and packs in very well. Just a little hint, go with a size larger than your trailer, and leave about 6" on each side of your dumpbox. Then using something small and light as a 2"x1" screw that into the gromet holes.(Now this will be on the sides of the your trailer) This doesnt allow any blowout on the front or sides of the tarp and keep its nice and flat on top. Oh and use the 10oz. Hope this helps a few

I used these screens because I didn't want any overhang. It is very clean on the all four sides. I just didn't want a tarp or bungy cords hanging down the sides.

While your using it put a tarp over the part that your under. You will get covered in leaf dust. Also never turn on your heater in the truck just after loading your trailer. the dust gets into the vents and can clog it. Always blow off or out the vents before you leave.

I see what you are saying. Maybe in the off season I will prim and paint some wood for the front here we work. I will say that it is only a very little bit of dust though. The combo of the two screens block most of the dust.

I wish I could have bought bigger signs, but these were $500. So it was not in the budget to go bigger.
