Look at all the burn marks on the Hustler, from welding on the deck. What's up with that I wonder?

From the locations of the spots, it's probably got some kind of anti blow out baffle welded under there.

I was thinking Hustler had an anti-blowout kit that bolted on and did not require welding. I know a few years ago Hustler had deck problems and the factory recommended fix, was to torch out part of the baffles and discharge opening to improve the cut.
Or, the previous owner could have hit something and tore the baffle loose across the front.
Otherwise, the mower looks really clean and well cared for

The previous owner did torch out the front baffle and widened the discharge chute like Hustler suggested. I'll get more pics up tomorrow.

More pictures of the Hustler please. And I am assuming that it runs good?

Ok, that upgrade really improved the performance of that model deck. It is good that this has been done, so any new owner does not have to worry about it.
