Most trailer shops can help you with that. they should sell those. If you want, come on over to weatherford here, and visit schrick trailer sales.
is it long bed?

Why a 1/2 ton? It won't carry any weight, unless your just gonna use a couple 21's or something. A short bed frame would be a big problem cause there would be alot of weight behind the rear axle making the truck handle poorly. With the cost to make the bed and install it, why not just pull a trailer so you don't destroy a perfectly good truck.

yeh i dont think it would be wise to do this with a short bed...no good weight distribution.

well you want a long bed, not a bad idea though for mowing. going to do it out of aluminum?

i dont care what its made of.
i have a f150 and an f250 diesel.
i bought the f150 for 800 bucks a few eyars ago and replaced the blown engine. the thing is all paid for and i want it to be a dedicated mowing truck. i dont want my guys to have to pull a trailer if they dont have it.

alum would make it lighter and keep your front end on the ground better

I have a Dodge 1500 crew cab swb that I installed a dovetail and ramp system on. Search my threads and you'll find it.

It will probaly be next spring.
I'm wanting to move houses and build one out in Parker, TX. (i say this sine you are in weatherford).
I will also build a shop, that way I can just back the fully loaded truck into the shop without taking off the mowers. Right now, I keep my 16 ft trailer backed into my garage with al the mowers on it. ANd when I need to use it for somethin else, about twice a week, I unbloadeverything into the garage for the day. A giant pain.
I expect to have near 200 mowing customers next year and it will be interesting trying to juggle them all.
