What is advantage disadvantage to a split ramp dove tail trailer vs. non donve tail. Looking at a corn pro to put mowing equipment on.

Well the obviuos advantage of a dovetail is you won't have to worry about your decks getting hung up as much.

right- you don't get hung up as much. Also- less tailgate area (a smaller, lighter tailgate). I think dovetails look better too.

disadvantage- it eats away at your usable flat deck space.

Cut down on ramp angle.

I have seen dovetails that you and lift the deck to line up with the rest of the trailer. Handy for hauling materials.
