Why'd you go with fradan over Little Wonder? LW blowers are beasts- fradan are just okay IMO.

What's the blower housing made of. It looks like it has some kind of bedliner coating on it.

How many cleanups do you do to justify having all those blowers?

I have been contemplating one. I guess for next year as we are half completed with leaves this year. Although we have a couple of small parking lots we blow once a month and this would come in very helpful. I just wish I could get my hands on the different hp to see what would fit us best. right now we have 4 stihl br 600's that do very well just want to cut time, especially when the debris really piles up.

the site for FRADAN IS http://www.fradanpower.com

i have 17 costumers(3-4 days of work) that have 10 acre lawns and they pay a lot of money, so i allways try to do my best and listin to the costumer............my crew splits up and does small residencial lawns, while i try and focus on the bigger jobs. ANYWAY THANKS for all of the comments so far!:clapping:

Matt,

You can't be serious about this statement. I have a Little Wonder, and a Billy Goat = No comparison to the Fradans.

Yea I see alot of Fradans at the dealers...they look really good for some reason I'm not crazy about the w/b blowers but I think with a 3 man crew 1 guy on the w/b and 2 on the backpacks it could work out good.

Blowerboy,

Where did you get the lesco? Two weeks ago there was one on Ebay and I was going to bid on it but the listing disappeared in like 2 hours.
I will keep my eye on ebay for another one over the winter...

Go with a "FORCE" or a "LITTLE WONDER". Anything else is a waste. REDMAX-ECHO backpacks.

It looks like the two fradans are twin cyl. Lets compare apples to apples. BG has a 18hp twin, I would like to put it against one of those big FRADANS. You can't compare a 9-13hp to a 16-18hp twin.

I'm acually going to be buying a 13HP Force soon. I like everything I've read about it. I saw the comparison on their website and I talked with a few dealers who don't even sell BG and they all said outstanding things about the Force blower. I currently have a 13HP LW and 8HP LW. I will be selling the 8HP LW very soon cause it will just sit most of the time and it's not even a year old.

Little wonder isn't that great, i'd pick the forceover the LW cause u dont have to have a backpack to get the leaves out of the grass. Blly goat 16 isn't as goos as the FRDAN 18!! OR MY LESCO 16!!:weightlifter: :nono:

Looks like you guys do a lot of walking. We don't have many trees that lose their leaves down here. but the ones that do its a pain cuz every time i get em all cleaned up the wind blows the pile and makes a mess. So I usually mulch em up.

post some pics of your leaf truck/loader system if you got any.

We can sit and argue about HP and single cylinder vs twin all day! I have had this argument with many landscapers and a friend of mine who happens to be a dealer for billy goat and fradan will tell you the same thing-
When it comes to blowers HP does not mean anything, If it is the same size fan and it is spinning at the same RPM then a 9hp Blower is equal to a 13hp Blower. These blowers unlike leaf loaders or vacuums are not under that much of a load that the hp makes any difference. If I could not have the Fradans my second choice would be the Lesco hydro but since they are discontinued I would have to say my next choice would be a Force.

The 16hp fradan would eat anything you throw at it. Simply the best out there. Pay the extra money and have fun with it.

I didn't know Fraden made a w/b. I bought a couple of back pack Fradens a couple of yrs ago and was not impressed at all. IMHO way under powered compared to the Echo's I had then. I also didn't like the mixture I believe was 32:1 which was not like anything else I owned.

I now have a big Echo and last year bought two BR 600 Stihl's, LOVE EM!!

I have two BG w/b 10 & 8HP. I don't have any huge lawns so I don't really need anything bigger right now. I like the back packs better for getting leaves out of grass they seem to work well.

You really need to buy a toro groundsmaster with an olathe blower if your spending all that money on hard to move weak push blowers. Atleast go look at them you will never go back

I have read alot of negitive stuff about olathe equipment lack of parts support and parts unavailable for even resonably young equipment is this true?

I dunno we have 2 of them and they never give problems one is older from the early 90's and one is a 99 220 diesal. They really dont rack up the hours maybe 100 a year? if it takes you 2 hours with that little blower it would take you 20 mins with this. I will get pics for you. Also they are very simple blowers so not much to break. I mean if you just spent atleast 1500 each for those 2 blowers and you have 2 others you mine as well just buy one big ass blower and put the guys on good backpacks maybe the shindaiwa 8510

New the 99 was 18000, but we bought it used for 8 with a 60 inch side discharge deck. the one on the trailer is older not sure how much it cost used prob 3000. I saw 2 325 groundsmas6ters on ebay with the blowers and 72 inch decks. One was 4wheel drive i think like 7500. Def worth it considering he has 4 push blowers worth? 4-5000? the 99 is a diesal also and came with a power broom that was never used
