Kohler filter question

I have a 20hp Kohler with the commercial air cleaner, can I put a high performance air cleaner on this with out much mods? It is on a dixie chopper

Since I work for a Dixie Dealer I would say leave it the way Art Evans (owner/founder of DC) designed it !!!

What "Performance" filter were you thinking ? K&N ?

If so, You would be making a really BIG mistake. They do not filter near as well on dirt/dust slinging lawn equipment.

no, I was thinking more like the filters that come on the newer dixies. Not aftermarket. My mower is a 2005 coatsville classic.

You must be looking at the remote type below then, A complete bolt-on kit can be purchased from any Kohler/Dixie dealer. It comes with everything needed but, List at $199.50.....
