View Full Version : Thinning Fluid Film

I am using a Sure Shot sprayer.

I have put 20 ounces in a glass jar and put it in a microwave for about 1 1/2 minutes, was luke warm, and then stirred it up and put it in the sprayer with 110 psi of air.

The FF came out in a couple of streams instead of a spray. So my question is how much vegetable oil would you mix in with the FF. Would you heat up the vegetable oil?

Is there anything else that you could use for thinning.

Thanks, Bernie.

You know, I wouldn't really recommend thinning. If you were to thin it, I'd just start off with a small amount and add as needed.

The best way to spray Fluid Filmhttp://postthatpic.com/files/79/ff.gif is with an undercoating gun (Eastwood makes one that works excellent for about 20 bucks), or with an airless paint sprayer, like a Wagner.
