going out of buisness?

How many lawn chemical companies do you see start and then go out of buisness? It seems to me that a huge number of landscapers start up and go out of buisness, at least where i live. I cant recall any lawn applicators who closed shop, how about you guys--?

I know of a couple of large maintenance companies that used to do applications but gave it up and just do mowing and landscaping.
