PLEASE DO NO TYPE IN CAPS IT MEANS YOUR YELLING. Not trying to be an A-Hole, but we can read lowercase letters just fine.

That is funny - CAPS = YELL TIME!!=))

I would like it, never had it, but I am looking at a phone system for each truck so I can track the guys route, no when, where, that truck has been, for how long and see just how tight I can run things.

Bad thing is I have checked and in my little area of the world - that service is $$$$$$$$$$

I use one for determining the size of yard. One for tracking the guys and making a tighter route. use the garmin rhino when we are on the large props to comunicate and see where every on is at. saves walking.

Had a Garmin C340 for almost two years before someone stole it. Really loved it.

Recently bought a Mio Digiwalker 230. Its user interface isn't as easy to use as my older 340 Garmin but it is slimmer and does a better job of locking onto and holding a signal.

Oh yeah, I paid $550 for my Garmin a couple of years back, mail ordered my Mio for about $188 and they do almost the same thing.

If you are thinking of getting a GPS, shop around and spent a little extra money to get one with the text to speech feature, its well worth it!

I have a Magellan 3100. its not as great as the others as far as trying to find the nearest walmart or whatever but with addresses to homes, i LOVE it. it only costs 200.00 and was the best bday gift i've gotten in years. GPS is the way to go no doubt. it tells u when to be ready to make a turn, tells u when u have arrived at your destination, tells u if u make a wrong turn, and recalculates the route if u have a detour or unforseen accident and have to deviate off the path.

I use the Rhino 530 hcx. It has the super receiver and the function to determine area. I figure in 10% more due to discriminating factors and skewed accuracy. I.e. It is not a Military grade GPS.
