That's a shame yet everyone i know that has the 6.0L has not had any problems or major issues like i often hear about. Hopefully the new truck will treat you better.

I really like the wheels on your new Chevy. Wonder if I could buy them anywhere other then a Chevey Dealer. Nice truck by the way!

Great choice my friend! Love my 3 Chevys! Remember stay away from Ford, unless you like your truck to be Found On Road Dead!

hey he was the one who bought an 04. thats still a first year engine. look at the 01 duramaxs! first year engines have their problems, not all of them but quite a bit of em. if he wouldve waited and got an 05 he wouldve been fine.

That's a nice looking truck. I was always a Ford man, but the recent Duramax and Allison have me changing my mind. Good luck with it! I'll be saving up for my own in the next couple years.

I am a die hard ford fan... but I would never buy a 2003 or 2004 powerstroke. I think the new truck you have is a keeper... good luck...

Whats funny is that you always find a way to bring this up on threads...and make it a big ford Vs. Chevy...:dizzy:*trucewhiteflag*

jeez with out reading the whole thread I thought it was a 2007 Chevy Classic. That is one clean looking truck.

I'm still not liking the looks of the new chevys both 1/2 ton and 1 ton. But I do like the looks of the GMC Sierras.

Mine was a late 2004 engine....it should have been fine. And it doesnt matter what year it is when you have a fubar engine, then make it right no matter what year it is. But Ford couldnt do that! Grrr!:hammerhead:

i do not make it a ford vs. chevy thing. i never said anything bad about the duramax. i like the duramax actualy. i think GM finally has a great diesel.

popo4995- doesnt matter if it was late 04. they updated the engine for 05. which made them better. and you can thank international for makin all the warranty stuff very difficult!
