I think I am finally going to get a leaf loader. I know that it is almost too late to use it this fall. That is why I was wondering what size everyone uses. After looking at their brochure, they range from 11-23 hp. Don't want to get one too small, but don't want to waste money and over buy. I will jus be using it for sucking leaves and blowing them into an enclosed trailer.

How do you know how much suctio they have? Can the suction hose be extended to make it longer?

exactly, also take into consideration how much volume you have to fill. Do you have one dump insert to fill or do you have three 16' leaf boxs making the rounds. My 16hp billygoat will fill my box (17 cu yds) in 30-40 min packed as tight as can be, fyi. Good luck.

Buy the big one wether you can afford it or not. I have an 8" and it's lousy compared to the 10"

My honda 11hp sucked a shoe off my friends foot. It stopped the motor when it hit the fan though.

Don't buy a billygoat, buy a little wonder we just used our new little wonder 27HP kohler mounted on trailer for the first time today. I am filling a normal 10' dump truck with high sides in 25 mins. The crew I ran today was 3 gringos and 10 amigos and we couldn't keep this baby fed. It will drag two grown men across the ground if it gets a bunch of leaves on the end of the hose. Talk about a HOSS!!!

Why do you say to by a Little Wonder instead of a Billygoat? I see that yuo own 2 Billygoat leaf loaders. Is there a problem with them?

I have a 16hp billy goat HTR loader. No complaints about the performance but I will probably have a little wonder unit for next season.
