It is a Felling trailer. I think they are out of MN. It is a good trailer but it has a few issues. They are working with us to fix the problems very well. We custom ordered it from are local JD dealer. Ithink this one was around $5-7k as you see it in the first pic (minus the equipment). And yes it was worth it. We needed another trailer to haul the skid steer on.

I did not ask the question correctly.... the type of connection from the trailer to your pickup. What type and what size...please... the whole setup is very nice. Ken

do you cut with that tractor??? that must take forever

Noot Dogg

Why would you say that. The front one has a 24 hp deisel motor and a 54" deck and all wheel steer and the back unit has a 31 hp deisel motor with 72" mowing deck. We also have a 60" broom for the front mount.

What are you talking about? We have a 2 5/16 ball. The trailer bed is 20 ft long.

From these pictures I have come to 2 conclusions...you like John Deere, and you like blue. Looks nice

I have the size at 2 5/16 and believe that is correct...now the type...hopefully a Bulldog type trailer connector. The brand name type connection...Bulldog.
Thank you..... I eventually will figure out how to ask correct and detailed questions. Ken

The information I have so for is...2 5/16 trailer ball. Now on the hitch...just back of the trailer ball connection...some where on the connection is writing that tells you the brand of hitch...the name of the manufacturer of the actual hitch. The name is stamped on the hitch of the people who made the 2 5/16 coupler. Some of the names on the hitches are....Fulton...Atwood...Bulldog... Hammerblow etc. Please supply the name of the people that made the coupler. Best I can do in asking a question to get an answer. Ken

the mowers need to be ztr's if your going to get serious, and when you do leave the chrome hub caps off of them. they look kinda trailer trashy

im not saying they cant mow grass quick but not like a 60'' z can. the back own maybe but deff. not the 4-wheel steer rider.

Noot Dogg,
Great looking set up! The trailer matching the truck looks really nice. And contrary to what others may say, it looks like you are serious about this. Do you have pics of your shop on the forum somewhere? From the glimpse of it in the picture, it looks like a really nice one. I usually don't really like the chrome wheel covers on the Deere's, but they look pretty good on your stuff, since everything is nice and shiny.

No, we don't have any pics of our shop except the one with the truck in it. We tend to keep everything very clean. Our equipment gets tore down once a week and cleaned, greased, and new blades every day. We wax our equipment at least once a month. Image is everything!!

I'll disagree with that...4 wheel steer JD's are damn close to Z's in speed. They are awesome machines.

My grandpa has a John Deere 445 diesel 4 wheel steer and it will mow just as fast a ztr will, I will bet on that.. It leaves an awesome cut. It wont turn as sharp as a ztr will but it is pretty close. I know it runs faster and would give my deere ztr a run for its money.

Well I see I have other JD fans out there. The 4-wheel steer works very well. I am not saying I will draw circles around a z-turn but I will go on steeper hills than a z-turn. Some people like some units other than others. FOR EACH THERE OWN!!!

VERY professional! Looks great, and those 4 wheel steer riders are sweet, I know a guy that has a 6x10 trailer, a JD 4 wheel steer tractor, and a JD commercial 21" and he runs that set-up full-time and he said he would never get a Z.

In reality, nobody gives a damn if your mower was waxed last week.

Trailer looks nice i'm painting mine the same color lol

That looks like a great shop and yard pleany of room the shop looks like you can drive in one door and out the other ?

Noot Dogg
09-21-2008, 01:56 PM
That is correct. The front shop is 80x100 and the back one is 60x80 and getting bigger in spring. The front shed is heated and the back one is cold storage.

I'm Green with envy, but I will stay as lean as I can to build up to something that will be just what I need to go for it. Definitely nice set up!

I think you have a great set-up nice looking Truck,Trailer, and Mowers.. The 4 wheels steer rider in my eye does just as good of a job then a zero turn plus you can do more with the rider compared to a z turn.. Again though good looking setup

Nice truck and trailer combo for sure. What kind of issues were you having with the trailer? Tony
