This past summer i bought my first ztr.I love it.I bought a gravely 152z.The only prob i have is when you make your turns it seems to tear the grass .Any suggestions would be appreciated.Maybe i just need more practice.

Tire tread plays a huge role on how it performs on the (GREEN)...
More important is how you turn the ZTR there's a maneuver, besides the turn on a dime routine..
It's difficult to put in words maybe there's a video of it...?

I have found that making "K" style turns is a huge help. No more torn turf! Make a border pass around the property to give you room to turn and at the end of your run make a "K"
Hope this helps.

K turns are the only way when coming up to a 90 degree curb. When at at angle drive up the long side of the curb then turn around in your border pass.

you could just spin on one tire everytime...would like kind of "art decco"

its a zero turn but you can't actually have a zero turn on top op the a nice turf,
I though the method to turn was called the "Y" not "K" anyway whatever is called just go easy on the turns and try to do the zero turns over driveways, sidewalks
k turns, y turns, half of a 3 point turn, i dunno...
