20 miles a way they're selling regular unleaded for less than a dollar a gallon. Here it's still around $1.10. A lot nicer than the $1.50's we were seeing a few months ago. Hope it lasts for a while.

Now if diesel would just come down!

I just love the way the gas & diesel price is. Its a 1.22 here. I sure hope it stays down. Lots of stuff to do and I hate to chage extra for the job just to cover the price of fuel. Maybe it well stay down I sure hope so.

I don't know about regular. I don't run anything in my equipment less than 89 octane. My truck gets 92. But, price of 92 is $1.32

I have not see what happened today but over the weekend gas was 1.089 and diesel was 1.389. I keep waiting for diesel to drop more but with the cooler weather comming it may not since home heating oil demand is on the rise.

Anyways, I guess my diesel will be sitting today and I will drive the gasser.

I don't understand why areas like Chicago and Philadelphia are sooo high. There is easy access for tankers to dock and unload. I find that it is cheaper in inland states and find it hard to believe.

This is why we should NEVER raise our prices and tell the customer it's because of rising gas prices. Those of us who did must now answer to Ma and Pa Homeowner who what to know when their mowing price is going to come down like the gas. Those of us who raised prices because of gas must now come up with an excuse to keep them up there. Rule of thumb: Any time you want to raise pricing tell them your costs of doing business have gone up. Don't get into specifics.

It's been a few days since I filled up last, but when I did it was $1.71/gallon for regular unleaded. Unless something drastic happened over the weekend then I'm still paying that. Welcome to California. '

Over here it was like $1.05, I miss the good ol' days, where you could fill a tank for $.40. ;)

I can buy regular for $1.24 and that's Shell, Exxon. Some of the cut rate places are $1.19. Cut rate Diesel is $1.28 while the major dealers sell it at $1.59. Go figure.

Not bad considering the high cost of living area we are in.

WOW! Hank you must be older than dirt. If you can remember when you could fill up a whole tank for $.40 I thought you were only 15. :alien:

Here in Canada the price is still up aboutthe same as before, only dropped a few cents.

What are you guys who told their customers they had to raise prices because of the gas going to do? Have you got any customers asking about that yet?

$112.9 here on rocky top.

it'll drop 'till the arabs cut us off.

same thing happened to us in '73 over the arab/israli war.

we bit the bullet, bought vegas and pintos (cars not beans) and before you knew it gas was back down to only a buck a gallon.

we been there before, were going back again.

and I don't care because weve got some catch up work to do overseas.

Gas has been as low as 1.239 since the sept 11 attacks. Fluctuates alot. But if i dont keep an eye on the price it will jump up as much a .25 gal sometimes. I just keep everything topped off as long as it is cheap.
