I set my 19 hp kawasaki at 3800 rpms is it safe to run at that setting?

Sounds a little high to me. Though my 27hp came from the factory set right around there!?! I would bring them down around 3750. This is free load, right?! If thats 3800 under load, then thats WAY too high! What were they at before? And why did you change them?

My 23 is only 3650 without load. I wish I could get it higher, but the way the plate is made, I can't. I would probably bring it down to where under load is was 3600-3675.

Guys thats 3800 set under no load,factory setting was around 3550 under no load

3550 is where mine was from the factory also. Sure does better with them a little higher.
