Just bought a John DEERE 1332DDE snowblower used not to long ago. Had it out for the first snow. It runs fine until I put it under heavy load and then it will stall out after a few minutes. I can keep it running (sputtering badly) by pumping the primer bulb. If I let it die and then choke it and pull a few times it will start.

Sounds like fule\carb issues to me.

Should I start by removing the carb and cleaning it? Fuel flow from the tank to the valve under it is good. Didn't check flow at the carb yet.

Anything else that jumps out at you techies out there?

Is this carb a non-adjustable type?

Thanks Sean

1) That's the first place I would go.

2) Not really, It sounds like a partly clogged main jet.
