Hay All:

Being new to trailer breaks I finley got mine working on my "New to me"

20' trialer, I noticed that one side "driver" got hot and smelled like brakes burning, so I replaced the entire assembly. I figured it was just the maganet but it's better to replace the assembly.

It's still doing it. didn't drive far enoulf to make it smell just enould to put my hand on the dust cover and it's getting hot. the one on the other side is cool

The berrings all seem to be good and while I had it off I didn't adjust the brakes at the wheel it self. I was wondering if maybe it matters on the wireing. I didn't think so because it just hot and ground going to the maganet.

Check the trailer battery first, mine did the same and it was the battery, but most likely it's just a sticky brake that doesn't move back off in time.

it dosent have a battery:

But what I did was switch the wires. everything seems to be ok except for now the one on the other side doesnt seem to pull as much.
But I'm thinking that's because one one is new..

Just may be one of those trial and error things
