i think that my best present this year is going to be what me and my wife did for 2 angel tree children. one wanted a bike so we got her a bike and a helment and i painted her name on the helment to personalize for her. i hope she really likes it and wish i could be there when she gets it. the other one wanted clothes so we got her some really nice outfits.

Don't know what I'll get, don't care much to be honest. I have too much stuff already.
Here is what I am getting the Mrs this yr.

Image doesn't do it justice. I found a beautiful 24X30 canvas print all framed. The artist, Simon Dewey, lives not too far from here. I got him to sign it and write a little note on the back of the frame, encouraging my wife to keep up with her painting.
I hope she likes it... It was not cheap.
She better like it, because 'Santa' bought my son a BB gun without telling 'Mrs. Claus' about it.:laugh: or maybe:hammerhead::hammerhead: We'll see Tues. morning.

deere615, the Cub Cadet handles great, but I haven't had it on any hills yet. I got it for 1/4 acre properties that take too long with a 21". I'm going to start a thread about the mower after I use it some more because I've had some interest from people.

deere615 and tomberlawn, I have the same mower but made by craftsman, and for what I paid for it and all I love it nice and small 33" 10.5 horse. and I paid $950 brand new from sears with my clubcard. Its alot different from the rest but I like it alot. Good mower and good power for alittle little sears thing.

The Craftsman is a pull-start isn't it? How long have you had it? There's no grass to mow here, so I'm really looking forward to using mine this spring. I did mulch a few leaves on one guy's yard and it chopped them so well that it looked like it was bagged.

she paid for it on her own, cash i guess you could call it, first thing i did after this morning was checked the banks accounts, and her credit card. We do have 2 business, and she makes plenty of money on her own, the biggest reason i am suprised is she did it on here own, it would be easy for her to throw it on a credit card and say here you go. even better is now i can buy some other stuff with the money i was going to be using for there.

BR600. So far it's as great as you describe it. We have a BIG Christmas and it was a compilation of everyone (22 giftbuyers) that bought it. I got wondering what the heck I did wrong when everyone else was being handed dozens of smaller gifts and I didn't get a single one, until finnally this single gift BLEW me away:).

I don't have any pics of them yet, but my parents got me a custom license plate for the front of my truck with my business name and phone number on it and a John Deere garage stool to put in our new shop. My brother and I didn't get quite as much at Christmas as we usually do because Mom and Dad figured building the new shop and outfitting it with tools, a welder, a tractor, and all that stuff were pretty good presents throughout the year, and they were. That's a gift that will keep on giving, because we can fix and build stuff ourselves now.
The greatest gift, however, is Jesus Christ. I'm not sure what the agnostic comment was about when someone else gave thanks for Jesus, but He is truly the best thing anybody could receive, because He has already been given. If somebody gave you a brand new zero turn mower, it wouldn't go you any good until you took the key from their hand and accepted the gift. It's the same with Jesus. He came and gave Himself for everybody. It's up to us to accept his gift.

Late to post, but I got a 10x16 shed from Home Depot and they will be here Jan 9th to assemble and install it. I got one of the Tuff Sheds they sell and all I will have to do when installed is paint and build a ramp for the front. The only upgrade I got was the wider 60" door (Thinking ahead for larger mower).
My son got the gift that keeps on giving...a new Guitar Amp!! I am growing old of guitar music fast!
