I agree, I planted it a 11 pounds per 1000 which gives me a super thick stand.
I accredit the awesome topsoil I installed for the 7" deep root structure.

Looks like K31, but it might just be because of the close up.
The difference in tall fescue and St aug. is fescue doesnt get clinchbugs:rolleyes:.
St Aug.= warmseason. no available varitities that can be established by seed, must be planted by sod or plugs.
Fescues= cool season, but can be found in most temp zones from Alaska to Florida. ( considered a weed in the deep south), thousands of varities to choose from and they can all be established by seed.

It's # Tar Heel, Silverstar, and silverado II.
I don't purchsee seed from the box stores.

K31?.......lol Not much out there looks like K31. Maybe if the blades were 1/2 an inch fatter!

LOL, Yes sir, My mulchers are a little jagged, those poor turf tips look like they where torn off.(perhaps because they where), seems that no matter how keen an edge I put on the mulching blades I always get the shredded ends. :confused:
perhaps I should move away from the impact style of mowing and try the scissor
approach.
