Mulch question

Hey guy's,

could one of ya'll tell me how to figure how much area a yard of mulch will cover if spread 2in thick. What is the formula for this? I tried doing a search for this, but didn't have much luck.

sq feet times percenatge of a foot in decimal form, divided by 27.
