Wanted to run something by you guys: I ran across a 06 Super Z 30 Kohler, 72" cut with 360 hours. It comes with a striping kit and flex forks. The guy wants $7500 for it. First, is it worth this price, secondly does anyone see any issues with this engine/deck combination(power issues)?

As long as the engine has been updated or has the latest carburetor on it, you will be fine with the engine / deck combo as far as power goes.
The prices sounds ok..... hard to guess with out seeing it in person though.

For 7500, it'd better be SPOTLESS and have some warranty left.

I'm curious about this.

I am considering buying a 2006 Super Z 66" with the 30 hp Kohler. It has 52 hours on it. Asking price $6900. Does that sound like a good deal? Also, what is the deal on the carb update??

Price is ok.... if its like new...
Carb update.... you need to talk to a Kohler dealer, it may have been done already, or it may be a engine with the newer carb on it from the factory.
The original Hustler dealer that sold it could easily find out.
Let me know if you need help finding this out, if you buy it.

damn thats plenty i can get a new super z for $200 more here in VA

No update for you, the one we are talking about is for the 30hp unit and it is for the carburetor.
