What year F-250 do you have? Also, what size wheels?

When I had an '01 F-250, it had the polished aluminum 16" wheels (the ones with holes all the way around). I had a set 295/70/16 BFG All Terrain T/As put on it and they looked very nice. Not too big, didn't require any mods, and performed well. I got compliments quite often on the appearance.

I now have the polished 17" wheels on my '05 and I'm not sure what I'm going to get.

what year? if its 99-04 the 305's look great. and dont need a lift. if 05+ you can fit 35's no problem. and it will look good.

I just have the 16" steel gray rims....not fancy but its just an old work truck...The 305's sound pretty good. Dont want a lift kit so the 305's may be the ones.
Thanks fellers!!

Bigger tires equal more wear and tear on your front end components.
285/75/16's looked pretty good on 250's.

305s might fit, but 285s or 295s will give you the look you want and will fit for sure.

When I bought the 295 BFG's, the shop actually put a 305 on one side and a 295 on the other. The 305 did fit but was less than an inch from the fender well when turned. It also looked sort of odd since it filled so much of the fender well without a lift. The 295s just looked better. But BFG All-Terrain T/As sort of flare out at the edges anyway. If you go 305, maybe check into a front leveling kit.

Sometimes, bigger "isn't" better.

i have owned 4 super duty's with the years ranging from 2002 - 06 and have put 35" tires on all of them. you dont need a lift for any year from at least 99 through present. i however put leveling kits on them just for the look. picked them up on ebay for $200. the 35's do rub on the leafs on the 99-04's and they do rub a little on the 05-07's. great up grade that i think is a must have. you can check my truck out under the thread of new powerstroke and trailer. that is a f250 with 35's

305's are the same height as 285's just wider...they might be a 1/4 inch taller. and its not goin to wear down your front end faster...
