Hey just wondering, if u live in nebraska and do residential, when do u generaly start mowing so i can start planning for advertisments ect.

In Michigan, I start mowing when my clients lawns need to be cut.

Hey dude....I'm just 2 hours away on I-80, so we have the same weather (but you have more titty bars):laugh:
Most years, we start mowing in mid April, but once in awhile, we'll start in early April. Just depends on the year. We run five or six weeks of TV ads beginning in early March. Hope this helps.:usflag:

Generally it's wise to start advertising a few weeks, before grass starts to grow. Gets people thinking about SPRING lawn service....

I typically start the beginning of april

To the north of you usually the middle of April.
We do other things in early spring. Start your advertising early.

I would say around 7:30 or 8:00.

Down here I like to start in mid to late March, cleaning up leaves and such. Weekly mowing usually starts at the begining of April. Last year we got of to kinda a bad start, having TWO snows in April, one on Apr. 14th (VERY late for this area).

thank you for replies, im going to start advertiseing in Feb. and March, prob. start going door to door getting costomers
