if you have the lawns looks like a profitable setup for single op. Those were the good old days. Good Luck

I got the same mower. Good machine. I barely use the thing though. I bet you put more hours on yours in the first month than I have in the past 2 years.

If your trying to keep the paint looking sharp on it, you might not want to have the front caster arms rubbing against the trailer. You will wear off the paint in no time with it bouncing down the road. Happy mowing.

Yeah I was worried about the rubbing up against the trailer. Shouls I put padding against it or just not push the mower up so far. I cant wait to see how it mows. I am shure it will be great.

The trailer is a 6x12, I like it so far, it just creates alot of drag on my truck. Thanks for the comments I appreciate them alot:usflag:

Very nice setup man. You have almost the same setup I do.
Same truck different color and wheels, Same size trailer, Same sthil equipment. Only different thing is I have a John Deere 737 with a bagger. Walk behinds wouldnt work for me in my area. My setup works great for my solo operations. You should be very pleased with that. That Exmark mower shure is sharp by the way.
GOOD LUCK

Thank you very much sir. I gave up 38,000 a year and full benefits. Some people may call me crazy. It is a big step to get out and let that go. I am going to do the Air Force Reserves though. I like serving my country I just want to actually be home for a full year that will be nice.

I like the equipment so far I am itching to get started cutting some grass. I am also ithing because I got a nice case of poison ivy. Man I didnt know you could get it in the winter time lol!:usflag:

I am stationed at Tinker AFB in oklahoma I am a fuel system speacialist on the E-3 Sentry or as we call it AWACS. It has the big radar dome on the top of it.

Yeah, I've seen an AWACS before- in the movies:clapping:. Pretty neat looking birds. Are you planning on doing this full or part time? What type of advertising? How big are the properties that you are trying to get? Good luck!

I am planning on doing it full time. I have 3 and I am going to b putting in a bid for a bank branch that a lady in my church works at. There will be a total of 30 bank properties there not huge I am not shure the exact sizes. All together if I get those I will have 34 to 35. I have buisness cards and I am going to go print off colored fliers that my wife dezined for me. hopefully if the bank thing doesnt work out I can get alot of residentual properties. There are a tom of houseing areas around me.:usflag:

A bank is probably going to want you to have liability insurance. At least a half million, maybe a million. Talk to you auto & home insurance agent and ask if they can write you a policy.

Yeah the best quote I have received so far is 400.00 a year for 1 million and 70.00 a year to cover my equipment. So 470.00 I thought that was pretty decent:usflag:

That price is not bad at all! Sounds like you have all your ducks in a row!

Best of luck to you on your new business.

One quick question. How do you plan to run the business (i'm assuming your solo) while being a reserve, expecually at this time when its highly likly you could get called up for active duty? I ask this only because I considered that myself for a long time as i've personally felt compelled to serve, but ended up desiding it just wasn't possible to while running a business. If you get called up do you have some plan to keep your customers serviced while your gone so you'll have a business to come back to?

Good to see someone these days with a desire to serve others rather than just themselves. I thank and respect you for that :usflag:

Notes: I may have quit drinking 8 years ago, but I still like the part after where the home owner asks "are you drunk?"

Jokes aside, I'd say you invested wisely.

Thanks for the positive feedback. I have thought about what if I get activated. I have a couple of people that I was stationed with that said they would take over for me if something happened. :usflag:

Thats a nice setup and the fact that you didn't go overboard with your expences will help you keep your costs down and will really play to your advantage this season.
Good Luck

u got some nice stuff, take that guard off ur weedeater i find it helps because u can edge back padios and the ac unit pad fast without having to walk around the house with that heavy edger and u can even edge the whole house, i think the weedeater cleans out the edge better when its wet out. have fun with ur business dont let it become a job.

Thanks for the compliments and advice guys. What is the easy chute and what is the difference? I was also wondering if anybody knows of a place I can get a sulkie for my mower. The dealer that I do buisness with wants like 300.00 for a new one. I thought it was a little high:usflag:
