I think the extra stuff makes in look more beefed up and almost more like a work truck. I would want an 8ft bed though

As long as it wasn't parked on my lawn, or in my parking space, I would be ok with it.

Looks fine to me! As long as your parked in an appropriate area and not blocking a driveway entrance or anything like that.

no, looks good. new and clean. no embarassment there. i got a guy in my hood with a 1973 chevy dump, 2 differant cooler doors, no grill and a camper cover sitting on top the dump bed. nothing like youve ever seen. oh and his trailers a converted pickup bed sitting on an axl from something else. funnyest thing i've ever seen.

Since it has already started with accessories, it needs a bit more. that truck would look great with about a 3" lift and some nice rims and tires under it. It would definitely look tough and stocky. That would give this truck a whole different outlook.

Haha, i would...but heaven forbid i get any snow or rain on the Camry! And the old 280z takes up the rest of the space
Adam, Truck looks fine. Nice and clean, not over-the-top. Personally I would ditch the roll bar just because I like having a lumber rack for pole pruners, ladders, etc.

haha, my hear sank when I read that...but then I continued reading
Camper-shells/toppers are nice for keeping stuff dry and more out-of-sight...and somewhat protected security-wise. Locks only keep honest folks out, though. Expect to pay ~$1500 for a new painted one.

If I saw that outside near my property I would think "wow, another idiot got suckered into buying a chevy instead of a ford." Jk, it is a nice looking truck, but does need some bigger tires.

I love the look of lightbars on trucks, especially the ones that attatch on the bed rails so you don't lose and bed space. They don't make them for my Dakota, so I'm going to have to get one custom made.:hammerhead::realmad:

First problem is its a Chebby, and its painted in the color Chebby used on 6 million trucks, has no logo or company name. It looks like a hillbilly truck that you drive in the mud to go build a fire and drink beer.

Wash it now or as soon as you got time before you get busy, do a really good job get it nice and clean then it's gtg likely for the season. Mine looks about like that, some scrapes and bumps but they're work trucks and it's got the late model body style so don't nobody hardly know if it's a '95 or an '04 in that sense, it's just your everyday decent vehicle is all it is.
Better off plain jane than bling bling, it's not a bad truck and I would never be ashamed to be seen in it but that's just me.

Adam, the fact that you even asked the question should tell you something. The truck looks fine. The lawn service rig looks fine. The two together implies that you are part time - owner operator. If that's the image you what to portray do not give it another thought. You have done that. If you what to separate your play truck from your "Professional" truck, then you need to change a few things. Some good suggestions to do that in this thread. PR

Your truck looks good but you should ditch the bar or get some nice lights. Not to be too harsh but I think those little square lights look dinky...Your truck would look badass with that 3" lift and some nice meats.

Coming from a guy that started with a diesel Mercedes Wagon and a 20 year old Ford F150 4X4 - your truck looks fine.
Invest in decent vinyl lettering, ditch the aftermarket stuff, avoid the big wheels/flashy rims and you will look much more professional.
The flashy gimmicks on a service truck sends the wrong message to consumers, mainly one is mis allocating capital investment in a limited/no return scenario.
As quickly as I could, the wagon was returned to personal use, the truck was repainted and lettered and I kept/always keep all of my equipment/mowers/tools/trailers neat and as dent free as possible.
One of these days I will post what all of the rigs look like but I am going to need a really wide lens to get it all in one decent photo.

The first thing I would do is get a drop hitch to get that trailer level. Nothing worse than seeing a trailer all cockeyed and high in the front. I link it to people who do not normally pull a trailer, as if they just borrowed or rented it. A bigger drop hitch not only gives the level look, it improves handling as well. Other than that. Looks good.

Now that's something that a customer would be embarrased about. Or a rust bucket truck. I think that nice trucks make your biz look more professional. So, that truck should be fine.

that a nice truck. just needs a little bigger tires

The brush guard is bigger than the truck, adds to wind resistence and wear on the front suspension. Bigger tires and wheels will put to much pressure on the 1/2 ton axels, and waste gas. Its a nice, lite duty scooter.

I would not mind if your truck were in front or on my driveway. Its not rusted, dented or dripping oil right?. Nothing about it says loser or cheap. It says success.

I thought the same thing. Less is more as far as professionalism. I see these trucks that look like a Yellow Pages add. Do you have to advertise that you trim a lawn after you mow?? I think that should be a given. You look at the one of the largest LCO's in KC, Signature, they don't even have their phone number on the truck!! Very simple logo design. I have tried to pattern my business after that same model. Clean white trucks with a simple professional looking logo with employee's that have uniforms or company t-shirts.

I will bet 90% of lawn customers couldnt even tell you what color truck their lawn guy has. And most couldnt even tell you their name.

it's a 1500 short box that you want to use for a lawn service truck, for that trailer size it will serve your needs well, IMO not the best choice for long term towing or hauling.
